Job Title : Recruitment Officer x3
Peromnes Grade : P10 (R588 488.61 CTC per annum)
Nature of Vacancy : Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
Location : Pretoria; Head Office
Reporting Line : Manager Human Resources
Overall Job Purpose :To render recruitment and general HR services to the CGS.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate and assist in the development of job profiles.
- Ensure that all new positions are graded before advertisement.
- Draft advertisements for positions.
- Ensure that all recruitment and procurement process are adhered to.
- Response handling for advertised positions.
- Facilitate and advise line managers on the shortlisting process.
- Ensure that shortlisting is aligned to CGS Employment Equity targets.
- Form the interview panel in consultation with the relevant line manager.
- Schedule interviews and prepare questions as well as interview packs.
- Chair or facilitate the interview process.
- Schedule relevant assessments for the recommended candidates.
- Conduct probity checks, such as reference checks, qualification verification, etc.
- Draft submission to appoint and offer of employment letter.
- Facilitate relocation of newly appointed employees.
- Coordinate induction of newly appointed employees.
- Writing relevant reports.
- Assist and advise with employee relations.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12; and
- National Diploma (NQF6) in Human Resources Management/Development or equivalent.
- Degree in Human Resource Management/Development (NQF7) will be an added advantage.
- Professional registration with SABPP will be an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s licence.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3-5 years’ recruitment experience.
- Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors or related ERP system.
- Sound interview skills.
- Experience working in recruitment agency will be added advantage.
- Experience and understanding of general administration.
- Experience in project management and budgeting.
- Fully computer literate with an advanced level of Ms Office.
- Confident and able to work on own initiative and with limited supervision.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with ability to prioritise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of supply chain management process.
- Understanding of LRA, BCEA, EEA and related legislation.
