Overall Job Purpose              :      

Responsible for planning, coordinating, managing and   delivering ICT related projects within scope, time, and budget. The role ensures effective implementation of technology solutions aligned with business needs

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of ICT projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and service providers to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support the implementation of new systems, software, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Prepare status reports and present updates to stakeholders and management.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Grade 12; and
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).

 

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in ICT project coordination or a similar role.
  • Experience in SAP and Non-SAP environment.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and software development life cycles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Ms Project).
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
